My party went great this weekend. I had a couple of people not show up due to sickness or well just didn't make it and I had a couple of adults fill in. Well I have to say the adults had the best time. Kids did too, but you know the adults weren't shy and of course would go in lots of different directions. By the time the first 10 minutes was over (well ended up being 30 min) I had Prince John asking Princess Sarah to elope and King Stephen ready to banish her if she did. Then that marriage was canceled and Prince John and Queen Lisle were engaged and Princess Sarah and King Fredericks were. It was hilarious. My pastor was the one stirring up the dirt on getting the elopement and trying to talk to Princess Sarah in private and stuff like that. My little brothers and sisters from the characters were great messengers.

We had a wonderful wedding dinner, (I changed things up some) I had it set up like a wedding supper and that is when King Stephen was poisoned after the supper was done. My husband played the part well and really enjoyed it. He actually said that if we do anything like that again that he doesn't want to be the victim b/c he can really role play the part. I could really go on and on b/c we had a blast! I will upload some pictures and send to you.

Oh, what really made it fun is that our Children's department at church is called King's Kids and we are remodeling the building to look like a castle, it is still under construction but I had the look in some areas.

Thank you and have a Blessed Day!!

It's been almost 2 weeks since the party and I am still getting parents coming up to me and telling me how much fun their child had at the party. I also incorporated a "hands only" buffet for the guests to the Medieval Feast which meant there are no untensils, even for cake!!! The kids loved it. There was a bit of mess but nothing myself or the dog couldn't clean up easily. The party itself was great for giving the kids something to do and it gave them purpose. I was the "Kitchen Maid" and I even got a marriage proposal. The kid's all participated and only one child didn't show up. All the attendees voted the birthday girl the murderer in the end and I think just keeping it fairly simple was the key to a very successful day!

This was definitely our son's best party ever. What a great way to mix thirteen PRETEEN boys and girls together. Not only did they ALL RSVP for the party, they all came in costume and had a great time. Initially, I thought the story line and roles may be a bit too complicated for 11 and 12 year olds, but I was wrong. They were engaged for the entire 3 hours! And then there was the ease of the party, all we had to do was follow your amazing, well organized instructions. Thank you!!! Next summer, our daughter wants her own Games Lady party.

This party was for my 10 year old son. He invited 17 kids to join us for the medieval party. They had a blast.. Although they were not as prepared as they should have been we still had a great time. They loved dressing up and they also enjoyed deciding who was the killer. The set up was easy to follow and prepare. Our only concern was three kids did not show up last min. due to sickness. That was hard is getting the information out for the others to hear. Thanks for a great party.

Hi Leslie, I just thought I would let you know that our party turned out super. The kids had a lot of fun and no one really every asked about what happens when such & such happens. It took them awhile to warm up to the improvisation but they did. They were agreeable with the results (Princess Sarah did it). Thank you!

It was a blast. The kids took abit of prodding to get into it, but then got into character and when the "secrets" came out they really got into it. We did a turkey leg and Dragon scale (waffle fry) feast and everyone really enjoyed it. Surprisingly, to me, the boys got into play acting more than the girls.
