Kids birthday party decorations don't have to come from the party store and blow a hole your budget.
In their excited state, the kids barely look at the stuff anyways. Perfection NOT required.
Childrens party decorations that are Fun, Festive & Simple- find yours here
Decorating ideas from parents from all around the web collected here for your use. Not all are so simple, so remember...
The PURPOSE of your birthday party decorations is to create a feeling of excitement and willingness to be engaged by the party's theme and games the minute they walk in your door.
The simpler the party decorations, the more involved your child can be in the party prep - and that takes some of the "I" out of b"I"rthday (and as I see it, that's a good thing)
They've come to your birthday party to DO- not stand around and chit-chat and observe/compare/critique your hostess and decorating skills as adults do.
Many parents just enjoy fooling around with the party decorations, and that's great. But if you're not one of them, just remember simple is good and it works with the kids.
If you bookmark any of the ideas you find here that you particularly like, you'll have them on hand when party time rolls around at your house.
