These are the latest Harry Potter Party reviews from customers:
Provided customers use appropriate language, all customer reviews of the Harry Potter Party that are received are posted here - the good, the bad, the ugly. My comments with respect to the bad and the ugly will be in brackets [ ].
Please note that this All Inclusive/Star review system was initiated mid October 2009. To keep this page full, I'm including earlier customer comments that I happened to have kept, each marked with an "*" instead of the star ratings. These earlier comments are NOT all inclusive, good, bad and ugly, but they're all I have at this time.
I ask ALL my clients for their party feedback.
Like you, they're all busy people and only a few find the time to respond, and I thank them each and every one for doing so.
Here's a question for you:
If you give a Chemistry Set to a toddler, the results will or could be a major disaster. Does that mean Chemistry Sets are bad? No- it means the Chemistry Set was used innappropriately. The same goes for my parties. I make no bones about the fact that these parties are, on purpose, a challenge for the kids. Only you as parents can evaluate the skill level of the group you'll be entertaining. Only you, as parents, can make the right match between the kids and the party.
I include all comments here (1) to be in compliance with FTC standards and (2) so you can draw your own conclusion about the fit between these parties, you, and your group of kids. 'Nuff said....

This party was for my daughter's 9th birthday. We were hoping for more kids to attend but as it was in the summer we ended up with a total of 8 kids and it still worked out well. The girls had a great time playing all the games although we had to skip Quidditch and the Puzzle at the end, just not enough time and nine yr. old girls really like to have down time to just hang out and I felt I had to accomodate them. Otherwise, it was great! I had also added a jelly bean guessing game! Thanks for the great ideas! |

Hi. The party went fantastically as did the last one I purchased from you. I have also in the past bought the Survivor Party and this one was just as easy and time saving as the first one. We had the [party] over a week ago now and the kids are still talking about it. Thanks to you I am the best mother in school. Thanks again. Will see you next year and Thanks |

The party was a hit, I used many of your ideas.
It started by being welcomed to platform 9 3/4. I painted the glass door on our brick carriage house red with white to match the brick, gave each child a Hogwarts express ticket, blew a train whistle, and up the stairs (on the train) we went. I packaged some Bertie Bott's every flavor jelly beans and chocolate frogs (for sale on "return trip" home from Hogwarts - 1 galleon each. I made a sorting hat and read the poem. We had a snack with the juice cubes and sprite and finger foods. Levitated raisins (loved it), Changed the liquid color (they were excited), had a tasting contest with Bertie Botts beans and played quidditch (I made a snitch out of a styrofoam ball, covered in gold glue, usd gold twisty ties for wings, put a stick pin pointing down and hung from ceiling fan) - we did the quidditch game one. I set up a little Gringotts Bank (put out a piggy bank, money box, bag of money, coins on table) kids could withdraw money (some gold coins) and purchase the beans and frogs on the way home. Each child received harry glasses, wand, stickers, student hat. We had tons of fun, glad we did it and thanks so much for the ideas. |

Your party package was great! I purchased it solely for the invitations, than ended up using several of your ideas. The party was for a 9 year old boy. We used your Jeopardy game, house badges, transfiguration cards, and sorting hat poem. We set-up our own wand shop using sticks we found in the woods and decorated with 20 gauge colored wire. I added smoke bombs, incense, and "poppers" (left over from July 4th). We sat down to a feast of potatoes, corn, fried chicken, pulled pork, rolls, chocolate pretzel wands, and coleslaw. The boys made their own drinks in Potions class (mixed various kool-aids, lemonade, etc.. labeled with creepy names such as "dragon blood"). My 4 year old also wants this party when he turns 5 in September! Thank you. |

I guess I used the package to formulate my own ideas.
The day of the party was the hottest day on record with horrific bushfires occurring, so it was a great pity about the day.... but I think all the kids still had a terrific time. I admire all the details you have gone into but did find for the age group I had, 8 - 9 yr olds, the party had to be re-organised. Many thanks |
